Purses , aprons ,Totes , Oh My!

This is Alexandra Elisabeth
also known as
Alex.
She is my favorite 17 year old grand-daughter

At Christmas time we made a trade.

If I would sew a tote for her

friend then she would model purses

and aprons for my Etsy store

and the Farm Chicks show.

Little does she realize how many aprons I plan to sew!
My Etsy store is actually open but not well stocked.

But guess what? I already had a sale! How cool is that?!

Here is a link to Primp in case you want

to check out what has been listed so far.

I promise there is more to come.

This little apron from Amy Butler fabric

is perfect to hold your monies when you do a show.
It has a place for 1' , 5's , 10's and 20"s.

This is the shopping bag tote style .

Another craft apron in turquoise and brown .
I love that color combination!

This purse is from Amy's last collection
" Daisy Chain".

This sweet little cubby started out
as Emerald green. I gave it a coat of off white paint
and then a wash of of antique glazing to age the paint.

Vintage Finds and Garden Show Projects

Last Friday didn't start out the greatest for sales.
We drove 40 miles to an " estate sale " only to discover
that it was an antique store selling their
wares offsite from their store. They had a few things I
could use though.
Two more camp toasters for holding photos.

(Thank you for letting me know what its
original purpose was , I would have never guessed. )

The second estate sale was the real deal. Much better.
My favorite find this weekend was this piece of Glencourt
barkcloth in a blue colorway that I haven't seen
before. I have this blue that I created a few
pillows from but this "new " blue is a rich , deep blue.
After a serious soaking in Oxyclean all the colors brightened.

Very pretty!

We got this sweet little aqua blue chest of drawers
from Melanie's store last month.
The top needed a little fix. It has perfect chippy aqua
and cream paint with painted pink pulls.

My photo editing program just up and quit working.
I purchased the Adobe Photoshop Elements 7
but haven't had a moment to load it onto my computer.
I hope its user friendly as I have the
in 2 weeks so there's not alot of time for
practicing with it. I'm open to helpful hints if
this is the program you use .
Thanks!
