Joe and I discovered this
Amazing
Tramp Art piece recently. It is the
Eiffel Tower done completely from
old cigar boxes.
I cannot begin to imagine the hours
that it took to create this
Gorgeous
piece
This is the very top - the doors are on
the tiniest hinges that open -
I think it was to hold a photo
The person that we bought it from
purchased it at the old
Peacock Mansion
in Albany , Oregon. There was also a
replica of the Brooklyn Bridge there
but it was in total disrepair :(
So in my imagination I picture
a young woman ,
wealthy ,
but too ill to travel
So she creates piece by little piece
some of the sights she longs to see.
Each little arch spells out
Eiffel Tower .
Each little letter was hand carved.
Tiny little steps and handrails.
You really must see it to appreciate it
We will be bringing it to the
this weekend.
This is the BIG one!!
The show is Friday , Saturday and Sunday
You will find us in Building E
Space H 37
The weather will be perfect to
shop this show of over
1200 booths
Hope to see you there!
If you can't make it there ,
