Vintage crinolines

Yesterday I gathered up all the vintage crinolines
that I've purchased over the past year.
I save each and every one that I find
to take to the Farm Chicks show.
All the girls look so dang cute in
their crinolines and cowgirl boots.

There are 17 crinolines ,

2 are pink ,

one yellow super - poofy one and the

rest are different shades of white.

They kindof look like cotton candy , don't they?

PS
My youngest grandchild has strep throat.
Poor sweety.
Mmmm , do you think all those kisses
he gave me last Thursday may have been contagious?
I may not have time to be sick :0)

Darling littlest train case

Look at this littlest train case!
The one on the bottom is a regular size train case
to give you perspective.
The top one is so little, its half the size of the kind you
usually find.
Just adorable.

I also found some English ironstone to take to Farm Chicks.

I love ironstone so its always a decision of

what to keep and what to let go.

I finished my project so I'll post photos soon.

Monticello Antique Marketplace
is having its
10 year anniversary!
Happy Anniversary, Kelli!
To celebrate we are all doing a sale on
May 29, 30 and 31st.
PS
I had the date for the Barn House Flea
wrong.
It is July 31st.
If you go on the 24th you will be
greeted by llamas
but no vendors, :0)

Lavender and Farm Chicks

Hello!
We had a fabulous time at the Barn House Season Opener.
Busy , busy , busy !!
Thanks to everyone who made the drive out to the farm.
It was a gorgeous day and we hated to leave
but we'll be going back in July.
Put the day on your calendar
( right now )
You won't want to miss it.
So I've been obsessively sewing these darling
lavender sachets to take to Farm Chicks.
My house smells heavenly -
it looks like an episode from
The Hoarders
but it smells divine!

Here is the official vendor map for Farm Chicks.

We are in Bay 1

Spaces 172 173

We'll be the Lavender scented space :0)

Right next door to Tickled Pink!

And... I have 2 more industrial carts ready to go.

I'm working on a pretty cute project,

I'll post photos just as soon as I finish up.

And , Yes , I've been playing with my blog layout.

I'm not done but for now my blog list is at

the very bottom in case you were wondering

where the heck it went to.

Barn House Season Opener May 8th ( and you should see the bathroom :0)

A couple of weeks ago , Liz at Seabold Vintage Market( who I had the pleasure of seeing at the Monticello Garden Show )

posted about Dan Marty.

He has this cool industrial cart
I have the same little cart
( well , I actually have 4 of them )
but the liner
was too shabby even for this shabby girl.
So ..... back to the sewing machine.

Its a little bit more girly girl than the original but
I like the way it turned out.
Yesterday we took it and a
WHOLE lot of other great ( never before seen ) junque up to

Their season opening is this Saturday , May 8th.
The farm is so beautiful...what a great way to spend the day!
Gorgeous location and some of the best junk finds in the Pacific NorthWest.
You really need to be there

( you know you want to :0)

We were there all day setting up so.
of course, at some point you need to use the bathroom.

Well... let me tell you , it is the MOST BEAUTIFUL
bathroom I've ever seen.

Where are all the folks from those bathroom decorating magazines?

They are totally missing out here.
This is weird , I know gushing on and on but really ,
the serene colors , seashells , the linen towels, lavender soap ,
clawfoot bathtub, hardwood floors etc , etc.

I wanted to stay but Joe wasn't having any of that!

At least I wasn't in their snapping photos with my phone.

I'll ask J & J if he'll post photos sometime -
then you'll understand my ramblings.
Sigh!
Bathroom envy
:0)

Moving on .....Next up _
There's more great never before seen finds stashed in the
garage to take to this show.
And I still have 4 more weeks to shop :0)
