I like all the
Rachel Ashwell
products at
Target.
I'm sure that I would
love
everything at her shops in
California
but I don't see that roadtrip in my near future.
So...
Target it is.
We have a vintage cast iron bed that
sits up higher
than the modern bed skirts with a 17" drop.
So ...
I took a RA white dust ruffle
and cut it off of the flat base that
goes between the mattress and boxspring
( adding an extra 12" )
.
I added this onto one of
Rachels' ecru bed skirts
that matched the comforter set.
Now it's the Perfect length.
I
procrastinated on this
project for a
whole year ,
know what ??
It only took 2 hours to do
Sheesh!
Then
I cleaned this corner of the
bedroom
so I could take some photos. ha ha
After Christmas I'll take more photos...
Just purchased a vintage mirror to hang but it
*needs*
white paint first.
We are working
frantically
getting ready for the
Joe is working on a birdhouse ,
it's soooo cute.

The dust ruffle looks great. Doesn't it make you crazy when you put off a project so long that only takes a small portion of one day to complete? Why do we do that? Hummmmmmmmmmmmm

OOOO! Love it! I don't know why these little projects can take so long to get to. This one was well worth it. It's spectacular with that double ruffle. Do you pile stuff in your bedroom too?
LUV LUV LUV all the ruffles.....! ♥

Great job Sue! Soo pretty!
How do you keep your bedroom so White! Would never work for me, having a rottweiler who likes to get up on the bed!
P.S. 21 days and counting! :o)
