Celebrity shoppers at Barn House and Monticello

We had a great time at the
Barn House Fall show
show yesterday.
It was fun helping with all the fabulous
shoppers that came bright and early to see
Joe , Cindy and Joy's magic transformation
of the barn. And such a transformation it was!
My job was to take their treasures to the SOLD area.
A hard job but someone's got to do it :)
The best part of the day was seeing one of my very
favorite shopper / bloggers,
Kristin
of

Her prince of a prairie husband drove
19 hours so they could shop
at Monticello on Friday and
then be at Barn House first thing on Saturday.
He's a keeper and
she is just as sweet as can be,
I wish she lived closer but I will
have to be content being a blogger stalker. lol
I just love all her prairie goodness :)
Kristen is hosting a give away on her blog so be sure to
enter to win some chippy , white vintage treasures.

Maison Douce

has beautiful Barn House photos posted
while you
are waiting for Kristin
to post hers :)

Meanwhile, at

they had their own celebrity shopper.
Tori Spelling was in Portland
and shopped her little heart out at the Fall Show.

She bought lots of these
from me and a Whole lot of other stuff from
the mall.
She was a pretty happy girl and said she'd be back.
Well , now that all the fun is over
it's time to attend to real world stuff
like ,say, cleaning the house.
Wait...
there's no time for that!
The Christmas show will be here
before you know it and there
is So much to do. I better hold off on that
house cleaning for a bit longer :)

Monticello Fall Show starts Friday !!!

Three times a year

will clear out the Salvedge Garden area,

invite guest vendors to set up a space
and

put on a fantastic special show.

This Friday , September 10th at

10:00 am

the Fall show begins.

Here is a sampling of my space....

What do you think of the French Provencial chairs?

Joe and I just finished those up.
Speaking of my fabulous ,
construction guy husband....

look at my new display wall behind all that good junk :)

He started with a huge / heavy old garage door,
added chippy white paint screen doors on the sides ,
put up a shelf and mounted rusty galvenized metal as a backdrop
for the Enormous deer head.
How did I get so lucky?

A terrific craftsman who loves to junk -
call me blessed :)

The Fall Premiere show will last through
Sept 26th

and
we will all be restocking - ALOT !

Hope to see you there !!
