Vintage industrial Goldberg Bros film reels

Last month at the Coburg Antique Fair
I went shopping while Joe stayed
in the booth selling
( yes ,he's a keeper :)
Yesterday, I (finally) unpacked the tote with
my Coburg purchases,
I had completely forgotten about the
3 vintage film reels I bought.
Here was my first thought

" oh , these will sell quickly"

Then that little lightbulb came on
and I realized
they were just what
I had been looking for.
These 3 weren't going anywhere!

I still had a bare wall over the
 medical cabinet
that I bought at Farm Chicks

 I considered mirrors.
Now I'm glad I waited

If you click on the photo it will enlarge to
 better see the great detail.
They were manufactured
by the Goldberg Bros Co in Colorado.
Don't you love it when
it all comes together?

Oh-me-oh-my! Those movie reels are picture PERFECT, Sue! I have some very old, large galvanized reel cases from the old Holly wood studios . . . maybe I'll make them into lamps!

Always inspirational to see what you do,
