Paris swap

Shelley @ Sweet Pea recently hosted a
" I'd Rather be in Paris Swap"
She was so kind as to invite me to play along.

I was thrilled when she sent me my swap partner's info.
She was my long distance BFF
Debbie @ Talking Trash

Look at all the super sweet Frenchie things she sent.

A darling card , 2 Books to read , Paris wrapping paper, pretty ribbons and bows and gold cording
( which I ran out of at Christmas and
could not find more! )

These pretties are resting on a beautiful scarf w/ cherubs

A bit of French lace.

My favorite! A darling little charm bracelet
that included an Eiffel Tower charm.

It also has a pink rhinestone poodle
, how cute is that?

A pretty wrapped box , again the Eiffel Tower.

And this lovely little tag.

A velvet jewelry case - click on the photo to
see the charms details. It is oh so sweet.

My dear Debbie knows the way to my heart -
she sent a Beignet mix!!
What a great Frenchie idea!

Last ( and my favorite ) is this French themed fabric.
Oh la la!
Isn't it so pretty?
I see it
becoming a purse in its future.

Love the graphics!!
Thank you, Debbie ,
for all of my treasures!
Now , do you see bits and pieces of a cabinet here
and there in the photos?
Look at my newest find!
Okay - it was Joe ( again! )
that found it but only 'cause he went
down the scary steps at the estate sale first!
I would have seen it hidden behind
all the dirt and grime eventually.

Isn't it wonderful? Look at the little drawer pulls - how they
graduate from small to large in size as
they work their way down.

Oh it was so dirty but cleaned up nicely!
We saw Bob and Debbie of My Shabby Roses at the same sale.
She got a darling vintage shopping cart
with red wheels there - where was I?
Oh , yes , in that filthy dirty basement!
Really I love those old basements ,
they can be just a treasure trove.
In case you were wondering if I've just been relaxing and
enjoying summer since we returned
from Farm Chicks ,
well , that is not the case.
We have the Portland Expo Show in 2 weeks so I've
been pricing and packing new vintage goodies to take.
It's a 3 day show - lots of selling and shopping to be done!
Then it's the Barn House
Flea Market July 18th!!
I'm so happy to be a part of this great show.
I really have been working on some great projects so I'll
try to get some photos posted before then.
Before I say good bye for now I did want to share that
Debi @ Hummadeedledee
is having a giveaway for her THREE year
bloggiversary!
Congratulations , Debi.

I really hope you like everything. This was my first swap and I didn't know exactly what to do, but I had fun picking out things just for you. You are always so sweet and supportive of this trashy girl and I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate you. I was thrilled when Shelley said we would be partners! Girl, you are Fab U Lous!

I'm with you Sue I love those dirty basements, and that one was dirty! Sometimes it's just me and the guys down there looking through all that good junk!

Even though we love the same things it's always nice to see you out while junking. You're just so darn nice!

Hope you get a lot accomplished between now and Expo!

Hi Sue--what a great little chest of drawers! I'm afraid of spiders (in this business, go figure) but arachnophobia is no match for my quest for the goodies in basements too. Love my pretty seashell from pretty Sue!

See ya soon at Expo . . . xo Debi
